for everyone
Category:   Baking

Description:
I havent tried baking this yet coz it seems like alot of work! but very tempting... i miss durian cakes/pasteries!

Ingredients:
Puff pastery
150gm plain flour – sieve
125gm butter
5 eggs
250ml water
pinch of salt

Durian Cream
2-3 durians (depending on how generous you intend to be with your filling)
Whipped Cream (optional)
Sugar (optional)

Directions:
Puff pastery
Put water into a pot together with butter and salt.
Heat it until butter melts and when it bubbles to boil quickly throw in the sieved flour.
Reduce heat and stir the mixture until dry – using a wooden spoon.
Remove from stove and let it cool.
Add eggs one at a time and stir the mixture until it looks shinny.
When ready transfer the mixture into a piping bag and pipe puff onto a baking tray.
Sizes depend on you – puff will rise.

Bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 200 degree cel.
Remove from oven when puffs turn a bit brownish on top.
Let the puffs cool before cutting a slit at the side for filling.

Durian Cream
Buy the best durians and remove the pulps from the seeds.
Put the durian pulps into blending machine and blend until mixture soft.
Add in sugar to taste and chill it in the fridge.
(Add in whipped cream to blend if you choose to use it.)

Using a small teaspoon, scoop the durian cream into the slit puff.

(if i ever attempt it, i'll load some pics up... muhaha...)
